JR says: "I'm sure the timing was a coincidence!
BB is brand like scotch tape, bandaids and Reynolds wrap are the common names for any clear common tap, adhesive bandage or any aluminum foil. But it is true that if you haven't a big picture view of the concept behind the design and the general universe of long term, short term designs or open and closed biochamber designs you might get confused by all the variations ( usually around ease of maintenance) on the BB as if each was an entirely independent concept. Michael as you continue your journey from beginner to intermediate hobbyist these things will become more clear. For now, think of any filter that is closed off and trapping in nature to be of the BB line of evolution. Ironically, the forerunner of all closed conatiners with beads, pellets, marbles, stone sand etc is the undergravel filter bed ( another obsolete design).
Wishing you the best Michael, on your journey up the learning curve and I remain available to help you just as I have in the past. JR "
Michael says: I assure you I do not keep track of your schedule. That was simply Childers taking a jab. I hardly see me coming in too late as I posted the same day. But nice try and very childish!
So what you are really saying is. You have no real answer!
Your answer above says very little if anything at all. It actually looks a little desperate for a real answer. Tape, band-aids and foil? I thought we were talking about bead filters?!...
Tell you what, I'm done with you. Your GOD complex is simply too big to deal with. Maybe when you figure out that you DON'T know everything you just might be of some use.
ONE LAST THING: I'm waiting on a special MAKCA mag were you JAMES REILLY , actually published that in YOUR opinion moving beds and wait for it.......BEAD FILTERS were the best filtration out there! As soon as I receive it I will scan it and post for all to see.
