??? solid matting chamber? How does that work? Do you mean turned the wrong way so that they act as physical barriers or walls and the water is supposed to flow thru them? JR
Yeah, one of those watergarden methodologies. Not only do they trap crap, they also trap gasses and can end up floating up (on upflow filters) or cause and down flow chamber to overflow. The open cartridges solve all of those issues, expecially when heavily airated.
But maybe d was talking about something else?
