Hi Tom, I think you'd agree that the finest domestic breeders have played an important part in pushing the hobby forward. Personally I'm indebted to one in particular for the time he takes in educating newbies, writing countless articles and showing me the pictorial development of his fish year after year. I also appreciate the integrity of the dealer and the quality of the fish I've bought. They're healthy and beautiful & its been a pleasure watching them grow year after year in the mud pond. I'll post pics when it comes up this fall and continue to support domestic breeders. I've seen multiple case of KHV from Japanese fish and one even in my own backyard (fortunately in a Q-tank). I've yet to see a domestic KHV case but did deal with an SVC scare once. And yes, my next step is indeed a trip to Japan now that I'm a little better educated. Sanjiv
