Im glad you brought that up.
Why is it that most installers install a UV on the discharge side of the system, right before the water returns to the pond? That way, all the dead algae cells that have been ruptured end up back in the water.
I install the UV right after the pump, and before the final filter. That way a lot of the crap is removed before the water ends up back in the pond.
I have recieved more hell from the "pond experts" installing them that way, but it only makes perfect sense to me.
