Thanks Michael,I was not aware that the kidneys were always dealing with osmosis from the skin. But I am just learning...Thanks for that! But I would say that because of the nature of the gills tissue and rich blood supply,quite a bit of absorption could be via the gills. But I am guessing! James Guiler
