It was a trick question. Either response is correct, or werond, depending .... Depending on age, season, breeding population, diet, weight [fat or skinny?] and numerous other factors, skin thickness varies. And, it varies from one area of the body to another, whether human or fish. And, one can debate what constitutes the skin, or 'integument' as some prefer. For example, is the mucus coat an aspect of the skin or truly separable? Things are often not as simple as we would like to think.
