I wasn't referring to your post but rather your question about better ways of learning than googling.
Look googling is great to check facts to re-enforce details on a subject. Who remembers formulas learned in college a decade or a year ago, for instance? As I think you know, if you do a search on a subject you will get 90% marketing ads. If you want the real deal, you go to the professional sources, which can be very expensive or over most lay people's heads unless they have a background in the searched subject.
In truth, we can only take these subjects so far-- it's fun and hopefully stimulates some readers to read more on the subject. In that case, a college biology text book followed by a college level microbiology book is time better spent than googling. But no one wants to go thru that effort if a google can get a factoid. That's my only point. JR
