curious stuff! We have all been educated over the years to just how fragile the Australian ecosystem is-- headed up and populated by a less competitive marsupial diversification. And certainly your country has been blessed with some other 'no where else' non marsupial species like the parrots and Rosellas. Beautiful! But niche specific! Your post and plight really turn the non down underers among us upside down?! 'Bad' is 'good' and 'good' is 'bad' in your world! The head spins and the mind boggles! I would think that releasing KHV into the wild is a modern version of the once 'good idea' of releasing the rabbit and carp themselves into the wild! Put another way, the immediate thinking makes some sense on the most superficial level- then that old law of Unintended Consequence seems to come to mind-- Best of luck, JR
