Thanks everyone for your posts. Last summer I entered 3 of my koi into a show for the first time,and I felt 2 of them had the potential to compete for decent awards in the future.However it was their conditioning and in particular the shiroji that I hadnt brought up to the level of other koi on show. Hopefully I can now improve on this,although seeing Marks 5 contenders for the All Japan( Niigata Nishikigoi),I may have some way to go!
