I don't know why JR is being harrassed by "d". I Don't know this d person? I do know JR and we all know he can defend himself and his posts. JR has been one of if not the most prolific poster to start and contribute to the educational threads that have kept NI a koi board to visit for indepth discussions on keeping koi.

What is written on a message board often loses it's sense of humor and lacks the true tone intented. I know I speak for many koi kichi when I say that JR is one of the good guys and deserves to be appreciated when he does what he does to help the hobby.

Passion can sometimes come across as arrogance when thoughts are written down. However who wants every post to be sugar coated to the point that it loses it's truth/context. Facts can offend those that feel their methods are lessened by them. However, facts are still facts and need to be conveyed to help the koi hobby continue.

Of course, we can all be wrong headed at times and caught up in emotional junk. When that happens we need a smack from friends and sometimes even foes to see our faults.
