dweeb! Nice to hear from you! I guess this post is an attempt be profound or even 'wise'? Comical considering the source---

Like walking and chewing gum at the same time, another one of dweeb's challenges is obviously comphrehending my opinion on the dealer community on more than one level.

Dealers are the source for our obsession- they provide us with our koi! They also help keep koi clubs going and koi magazines afloat via donations and ads. In this regard the relationship between the koi community and the koi industry is initimate and symbiolic. As Dr Kuroki has said " the relationship between the koi societies and the dealer community is one of mutual benefit".

What dealers should not do, however, is be so aggressive in this balance and attempt as attempt to control clubs, shows and outcome of shows. Further they should not purposely try and create disharmony within clubs and between club members. In addition, dealers can be a source of information and education but all too often the morally challenged dealer turns educational facts away in favor of product promotion. And so for all these reasons dealers are often viewed by experienced hobbyists as fox watching the chickens within the newbie set and beginner club. Since we can not single out individuals it has proven best to have rules limiting the direct involvement of dealers in club officer ranks and as exclusive sources with a club.

Now someone with more patience then me, please try and take these points and put them into three letter words for dweeb.( charts and diagrams might be needed) JR
