Right! But then again, your National organization was MUCH larger and you had your own monthly magazine then. And the USA clubs, except for the California clubs, were quite backward in 1988. The heart of koi keeping in the USA was in California and Hawaii back then. Those cal clubs already had 10 years of experience at that point and the east coast and other areas were just 'waking'.
