Gloomy Monday, huh?? I think you've been talking with Waddy too much, JR. Sure, the worldwide economy depresses sales of everything. And, things change. Economic slumps will be overcome. The hobby is broader and bigger worldwide than ever before.

I believe the main risk to koikeeping is the same risk every hobby focused on living creatures faces: A generation of electronics-focused kids who don't think of going outside to play, and for whom Nature is a television program old people watch.
