Hi Mike,
I use about 25kg per "double wide" tray times 4 trays. I like it all jumbled, though I have to admit moving a piece here and there inside for better flow and less splash. Originating from the catch basin area to 1/2 HP Sequence pump with a basket, there is just over 6000 GPH flowing through those 4 trays which than have 2 UV's and a prefilter jmat before it. Been using the Bakki Shower with BH media for over 4 years now. It definately has it's place.
