I appreciate everyones response. The meter is the pin point meter from AES. I originally thought I would be using it in a non continuous mode, but I am begining to think I should get the ac adapter and use it in the continuous mode. My Ph is 7.0 and has been very steady with a alkalinity reserve of about 80 . the temp is 51. I am feeding lightly , but steady 35% protien food , Undetecable ammonia, and nitrite, nitrate is 5 mgl. So you can factor that in if you need that info. (I added a heating system this fall). Timely information JR, as I was thinking of locating the probe inside the bio- reactor, So I won't do that with all the air being pumped into the K1 media! I don't know I would trust the oxygen level...its reading, about 9 or 10 mgl. Ive got a test kit , but its a cheap color match one thats about 5 years old, and the reagent bottles are very crusty indeed!
