Organic Load: The most obvious thing that will change the ORP readings is the absence or presence of organic pollution. After all, for most of us hobbyists, this is one of the key reasons we purchased and use an ORP meter. MCA This is the ONLY reason we purchase ORP meters when monitoring mainpond water. This is the point of collecting ORP readings- to see that after all the reductives reactions are accounted for, that you still gave an oxidative reserve capacity. Other than monitoring a PP reaction of course, this is the mission. JR
