The mention of hikkui possibly being related to warts is interesting and brings up another possible treatment option I had not previously considered. Viral warts, plantar warts in particular, are treated in part with megadoses of Vitamin A. The virus simply cannot survive in a Vitamin A rich environment. It makes me wonder if it might not be worth a try to apply it topically to hikkui affected flesh early on to prevent further degradation and nip it in the bud.
