Posted by Brian Rodriguez Mr. Miyomoto's "hush hush" project ie. "the white lion project" was delayed further when all the concerns was put into the making of "Jungle Emperor Leo" the movie being avialable for the US market. Now that "SEGA of America" has the license they should be able to produce the long awaited game. However, Nintendo still wants to be responsible for the game's making. This means that the license from "SEGA of America" may need to be worned off before a game can come to be. One can only hope that the game will be released so that Kimba fans will glee in delight. Now that systems like the Nintendo DS and the Revolution are around, and the fact that Nintendo needs more characters besides the overused "Mario and friends" the game's future may become a reality.

Kimba does not have a game, however he has appeared in one game. In "Astro Boy Omega Factor" for the GBA, Leo makes an appearance in the forest when Astro Boy enters the area for the first time saying "There's a lion in the middle of the jungle." Leo then makes a further appearance when he fights the kid who has shape-shifting abilities. He changes to Leo when he yells "Leo Power." It's kinda nice to see him at least make an appearance in a game but would be greater for him to get his own game!
