My father's family came from the Chanute area. His paternal grandfather, Jesse Nolan Campbell, married Melissa Evans, who was the daughter of Sarah Crockett Evans and Alexander/Alec Evans.
I, too, am looking for Evans/Crockett?Campbell info from the Chanute area.
