In the book HISTORY OF EDUCATION, FENTRESS CO., TN by Wilma Pinckley, there is a story entitled "Pres Beaty's School." It is written by Wilma. In this story it says that Pres and his wife, Esther Owens Beaty, had 17 children. Several accounts are told of trips made by Wilma and others to the school. It is very enjoyable reading.
