hi barbara,according to the census records the first holder family pops up in morgan co about 1860. holder family were not among the founding families of morgan co. neithor were any of the families you metioned. hall, stonecipher,staples, freels and others about 1807. i do remember my grandma and greatgrandma talking about a nannie holder. daniel married malissia in morgan co on 10-14-1847.
