Hi, cousin! Great to see another of my Smith cousins! Like you, I've been searching for any clues as to the ancestry of George W. Smith. I'm pretty certain that his parents were from Virginia but can't prove it yet. I'm a direct descendant from George and Judith's son, Abraham Lincoln Smith. I've made contact with many of their descendants through a Smith Research website I have set up that you can become a member of. There are many Smith family pictures posted. Send me your descendancy info and I'll send you an invitation. I have quite a few cousins that descend from John "Booher" Smith, Abraham, Eliga, James Franklin, and Mary Ann.
