i am also searching for info on G.W. Sharp--he is my gggf. I know they were in ky in 1861 in Cumberland Co at Mud Flats with sons Samuel, William (my grandfather-died in KS)) and Alvin Columbus--all of whom I knew. These children were left as waifs, parents destiny unknown--grandpa said it was too sad to talk about. I would appreciate any further info.
