Shirley Lester Hood b4/13/1907, d11/01/1973. He was the son of Jefferson b09/1860,d1929 and Mary Jane b1865, d1924. Shirley's children are listed as Betty Grace, Corbet and Jeff. His siblings are:Eva, Emmett, Horace, Ethel and Hilery. Shirley is buried at the Taylor Place Cemetery. Emmett married Mary M.??. Their children are:Oscar, Hollans, Nora and Pirley. They are buried in the Hood Cemetery. According to the Fentress County Footprints book, one must take an ATV to reach this cemetery.
