I am related to the Hicks and Holdways (Holaway, Holiday)from Fentress and Morgan Counties, Tennessee. The John Hicks family is listed in the 1850 Census from Morgan County. They include Mary, his wife, and children Frances, David, Melinda, John, Jesse, Mary, Anderson and mother-in-law Rebecca Holdway (nee Cross from N. C.).
