I work with the Tangi-Adoption Rescue in the New Orleans, LA area Tangi Adopt A Rescue www.taar.petfinder.com I am currently fostering a chiweenie (chihuhua/mini dachshund) which we have named Pepé Le Pew . He is about 10 lbs and heartworm positive. He has been neutered, is being treated for the heartworms. He was literally on death row at the pound when our group rescued him. He was an owner surrender. He is 6 years old, completely potty trained, quiet and doesn’t bark much. Our group charges $150 adoption fee. His picture is on the above website. He is black and tan. I dont know where you live, but we do caravan through the Southern Animal Foundation to the east coast area from time to time.
