I'm a HUGE animal lover and consider these babies my family, but due to my health deteriorating I have to find extremely loving homes or home for them. The dog is a girl, and her name is Shy. I found her at a rescue shelter. She had been abused, and that totally blows my mind because she is SO awesome! She looks like a miniture lab, but of course that breed doesn't excist. So my guess is she's a lab mixed with something short, as she only stands an inch or two under my knee. She's been spayed. She's solid black with a little white on her chin, and doesn't have a mean bone in her body. She needs a place to run, but also needs to come in throughout the day and at night. She's also deathly afraid of storms. You'll know when ones coming because she'll start pacing. She likes to lay on a doggie bed placed under an end table or coffee table. Security reasons I'm sure. Shy is a kind soul, great with children, even cats too. Very laid back, like myself. That's probably why it's killing me to have to do this. I too have a ten year old little boy whose very sad about what has to happen. Either we find a great loving family for her or I have to shelter her and she'll probably be put down. If you aren't interested, but know of anyone else, please reply asap. Ok, well, I guess that's it. Hope to hear from you. Debra
