erase or delete bank pat of rhythm in pattern

Hi, Up to now I was not able to find out how can I delete or erase or modify parts of pattern where the rhythm i located. In owner manual there is described only way how can I modify (delete,erase) all parts of rhythm. It is not what I want. Anybady help me please !
