Posted by apupped I brought it into a local shop that guitar center recommended. They are telling me it is a chip on the main board thats the problem. It is now being sent in to Roland to have them fix it. Has anyone else experienced this?? I asked why a chip would all of a sudden fail. He said it was rare this would happen.

I experienced a problem with the lcd display where it was only displaying hieroglyphics and all the programs and patches wouldnt sound. I tried factory re-set which didnt help.
