It uses older 5 volt SmartMedia cards, not the newer (and much more affordable/available) 3.3V used in more modern equipment and cameras. Unfortunately they aren't as cheap as they should be (2 and 4 megs??? They should be a couple of bucks in 2005!), but if you look on E-Bay you should be able to find some for sale. I bought some for my 305, but I use them a lot less than I thought that I would.
