I was offered a Juno G for a silly price so I bought it. I have to say that the JX 305 pisses all over the Juno G in many ways. The Juno G is cheap and nasty sounding but the JX has a nice tone.
I'm just a bit worried about all of these dying 305's. I was the UK demonstrator for all of the 'Groove' stuff and JP8000 back in 97 and up to about 2001. The 305 worked well back then but now in 2008 I wonder how it is going to operate. I have one lined up and hope it doesn't lock up like so many I have read about.
Maybe my contacts at Roland UK will let me know some repair prices ;0) I will share with you if the information is available.
