I recently had some problems with the JX305 crashing and when I would turn it back on the beat light would stay illuminated orange and the board was useless. I tested the voltage on the adapter and it would fluxuate every 2 or 3 minutes. I went out and bought a Radio Shack 9V 1200mA adapter (says its for the sega genesis and other game systems) for $16.99 and hooked it up to the JX and now it runs fine and hasnt done anything wacky since then (knock on wood).
