Posted by Jimmy Nice, cozy little message board here. I used to have a Roland Jx-305 way back when it first came out. I actually bought it new for...what was it? $799? I sold it off, eventually. I havent been into the synthesizer scene for quite some time. I actally started everything when i was 14, and stopped by the time i was 18. I am now almost 21, and i have the urge to get back into it again. And i most fondly recall my JX-305. Apparently the used value is incredible now. For under $400, you can have yourself a Jx305. Now, when i had this board back in 98, it was rock solid. I read some posts on here saying that quite a few people were having problems with it crashing and not wanting to get back up. Did anyone ever figure out what the deal was? Bad batch? OS crash? I would LOOOOVE to get another JX305, but this is scaring me off. I have no clue if my board would fail on me at any given moment. Just wanted to clear things up. Thats all! Thanks!
