Hi, The transpose function is part of the tone generator on the JX, rather than the midid/keyboard system. Therefore it only affects internal sounds, it doesn't actually transpose the key's or the sequencer output. Which is a real shortcoming because when you transpose a track that uses external sounds as well as JX sounds everything goes horribly out of key.
