Preventative measures?

Mine is working fine for me and always has but I have some really good stuff I might not be able to reproduce in there. Is there a way to store it on my PC? I downloaded the mc505editor but I'm not really experienced with this stuff. My last outboard sequencer was an atari ST. I've been working on this stuff for months and I just wanna keep it safe.
