There were two things that everyone knew about Elvis Presley. Number one, there was absolutely no stepping on his blue suede shoes. And number two, he was quite a cultural puzzle. His weight fluctuated like temperatures in a desert and he took more medications than a 70 year old man with AIDS. There was just no figuring this guy’s brain out.
Much like the puzzling nature of the man himself, the Elvis Rubik’s Cube is an ode to the man which we all learned about too late. The man behind the music. If you’ve never caught a rabbit, you ain’t no friend of his. And if you haven’t solved his cube, you might just be an enemy.
The old 80’s Rubik’s cubes were tough enough, but the Elvis version adds a new twist to the tale. Not only do you need to match up all of the colors, but you have to arrange the colors so that the Elvis pictures emblazoned on each cubed side matches up to complete the picture.
Many of the people who are interested in such memorabilia and collectibles will probably not be looking for a new puzzle to solve anway, rather than just another piece to add to the Elvis trophy room. But if you want a new rockin’ twist on the old Rubik’s puzzle, you can grab your own for $10.98.
