Re: Heater Hose routing
If the hole is not grommeted, preglued grommet material is the ticket. I used it building pilot consoles for 4-seat airplanes. at 1/2 mil per plane, it must be the good stuff. we got it on big spools, but may be avail in shorter quantity.
Hi David! There is an oblong hole in the radiator shroud down low on the passenger side. The hose from the thermostat outlet goes thru the bottom of the hole, and over to the driver side of the heater box. The hose from the rear of the head by the oil filter goes thru the top of the hole, and up to the passenger side of the heater box. The hole may also have the speedo cable going thru, but there is room for it. Good Luck,
Does anyone have a picture or description of the heater box hose routing? My truck has the hoses looped in the engine bay and none run to the front of the truck. With the weather getting cooler, it would be nice to get the heat working.
