Heat is great...start small, like with a cordless impact driver like carpenters use...make sure the phillips head is BIG, so it fits WELL! If you start with an air impact you risk stripping out the head. Don't use the driver you hit with a hammer, as you well bend the A pillar. Last resort, weld a nut on the head of the
screw if it strips....you can also cut a slot and use a straight screwdriver first, after the phillips strips. Just say over and over "gooooozfaber....Goooozfaber" Good Luck!
Heat screws cherry red let cool reheat then use impact. Always worked for me.
anyone have any tricks to get the door hinges off an FC?
Soaked with PB Blaster for a couple of days. Took a large screw driver and and while twisting the screw driver hit the head of the screw driver with a hammer. They all came out.
