We tore it apart; the throwout bearing punched through the pressure plate "fingers" pushing them in toward the pilot bearing . . . ever hear of that happening? Will the new clutch assembly I've ordered from Kaiser Willys be a better design, preventing this from happening again? ? ? ?
: There isn't a whole lot to these old
: clutches. If the clutch worked then just
: stopped working and you are sure the entire
: cable is working, you probably have a
: problem with the clutch release fork or its
: pivot. I would still check the cable end. it
