I thought I'd give everyone a quick lesson on posting pictures on this forum. It is super easy. First the picture you want to post has to be on the Internet somewhere. If the picture is of your truck or something that is not on the Internet you need to join a photo sharing service. I use www.Photobucket.com. It's free to join and is real easy to use. Every picture on the Internet has an address to let you get to the picture to view it. On Photobucket after you post your picture it will give you a number of addresses of that picture. I always use the direct link. On photobucket you just click on that address and it will automatically copy it for you. On a picture to just find on the Internet go to the picture and right click on it. Click on the properties tab and you will see the address of that picture. The address has to start with "http" not "https". https is a secure address and those pictures can not be copied to this forum. Once you have the pictures address copied you go to this forum and click on "Post a Message" to start your post. In the message box there will be a "Image" tab. Click on it and an address box will show up. Paste the picture link you copied there, click add and your good to go. You can add text before or after the picture too. When you add a picture it will put a long address in the message box. After it does that take your cursor and either click before or after that address and it will put your text in the order that you put it in.
It all sounds hard, but once you try it you will be surprised how easy it is. Here's an example;
I went to Google Images and typed in FC Jeep. I found a picture that I wanted to post. Go to the actual picture, not the thumbnail on Google. I right clicked on the picture and clicked on the "properties" tab. This is the address of that picture.
Then I came to this message and clicked on the "image" tab. cleared the http:// that was in the image box and pasted that address. I went back to the message box and clicked the cursor in the message where I wanted the picture to go and then clicked the "add" button on the image link.
Hey, what's up with the yellow spot? Did my face ruin this picture or what? Anyway, that's how you do it! Give it a try. You'll be surprised! One more thing , always preview your post. If it looks funky in the preview it will look funky in the post and there's no editing here.
Good luck and let's see some Pictures!!!
