Ok, I think I have tried as many corrections as I can concieve in my ignition circuit.
I am using the wiring diagram from the manuals, and yes, I have a hard time following those tiny lines!
Here is what I have:
Battery Neg to Frame
Battery Pos to Starter Solenoid
Battery other side to Starter
Solenoid Positive(Battery Side) to Batt on Voltage Regulator
Batt or Volt. Reg to Bat on Ignition Switch
Center post on Ignition Switch to top post on Starter Solenoid
Voltage Regulator Arm and Fld to Generator posts (the posts on Gen are not marked)
3rd post on Generator to Ground on Voltage Regulator
Ground on Voltage Regulator to Frame
Acc on Ignition Switch to 12V Gauge +
12V Gauge - to Ground on Voltage Regulator
Gauge shows 12V when in the Acc or On position
Gauge drops to Zero when turned to Ignition (momentary position)
No click from Solenoid
No turn from the starter
Any thoughts?
I will probably pull the starter to bench test it, but it was rebuilt, so I doubt there is an issue there.
I am also going to try another battery, just to make sure I am not failing a load test.
Any help in plain english will be greatly appreciated.
