Hey, Dan! CONGRATULATIONS!!! Keep pushing forward and before you know it you WILL be done! I know the enormity of a project can be overwhelming sometimes; however, as you are doing, one step at a time, finishing smaller segments gives you a great sense of accomplishment. The results I'm sure will be fantastic! So, what color combo are you going with? Please post some photos when you are done! Greg

: OK - after buying my 59 FC 150 seven years ago
: - and dragging it home - I reached an
: important milestone today...!
:
: for the first time EVER I started it up and
: drove it!
:
: I've been working feverishly these last few
: weekends to get things back together -
: drivetrain, shifter, linkage, cab, steering,
: brakes, emergency brake, cooling system,
: working accelerator linkage -
:
: and today - I put the drivers seat in -
: started the beautifully rebuilt engine
: (original F Head 4) put the clutch in, put
: er in reverse and backed up about ten feet,
: hit the brakes (and they worked!) put her in
: first and pulled forward - did that about 5
: times - very very very emotionally
: satisfying! Still have a LOT to do - the
: cab is primed and needs to be painted - so I
: can then put all the glass in and then do a
: proper job of wiring - but maybe six weeks
: and it will be a reasonably and fully
: restored FC - and a thing of beauty - see
: you all on the road real soon.....
