elec. fan at rear of cab-?

Has anyone ever put an extra cooling fan at the rear of the cab, on the wire mesh, to help pull the hot air thru the tunnel-?.
I'm in Fl., I will try it, I think it would keep the floor and side walls of the tunnel cooler, it's can't hurt, I have the correct size fan already, maybe put it on a manual switch and a auto temp. switch. Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated!!!!!Wayne in sunny Fl.
