Thank you for the reply. I guess I will make what I have work. It is not too bad besides the spring mounts that were made up in the ugliest way possible. Just bought the truck last Friday and I have the bed and cab off. Body is quite nice and no rust at all. Even has the glove box behind the drivers seat and overdrive. Sorry to say it has a Ford 170 six in it that I will be pulling tomorrow.

: I believe the FC150 narrow track and early
: (pre 72) CJ5 frames are close but not the
: same. The main difference is in the front
: frame horns where they turn up to meet the
: bumper. The FC150 frame horns are taller.
: There may be other small differenses, but I
: think they are close. You could take the
: front frame horns off your FC frame if its
: junk and add them to a clean CJ frame.
: Anyone else know of any differenses? Your
: not gaining a lot with an early CJ frame, I
: don't think its any stronger. I have been
: told the M38A1 frame is stronger built than
: the CJ frame, but I don't know for sure.

: Thank you for the offer. I have a frame with
: wide track axles on it and they did not do
: the best job of putting them in and was only
: asking if anyone knows if a CJ frame is the
: same for sure or if the FC frames are
: modified in some way.

: Is your FC-150 a narrow-track? I have a
: good
: narrow-track frame and live near St. Louis.
: Going to Ohio this weekend and to Phoenix
: later if your along the way somewhere. Not
: sure on the CJ5 frame.
