I believe the FC150 narrow track and early (pre 72) CJ5 frames are close but not the same. The main difference is in the front frame horns where they turn up to meet the bumper. The FC150 frame horns are taller. There may be other small differenses, but I think they are close. You could take the front frame horns off your FC frame if its junk and add them to a clean CJ frame. Anyone else know of any differenses? Your not gaining a lot with an early CJ frame, I don't think its any stronger. I have been told the M38A1 frame is stronger built than the CJ frame, but I don't know for sure.
