Hi J.R.,
I did not sell P/S parts to Ed B. for an FC. I sold him a factory P/S pump and bracket only, for a Buick V6 that came with a '62 CJ-5 I bought from a friend who is out of work. I've known the past three owners of this Jeep, and I'm glad to have this little red beauty.
It's almost finished. It has almost new everything including a 225 V6 and a rare GM NP-435 4 spd. The Jeep was in the process of being jacked-up to an un-Godly level with a spring-over, 33 x 12.50 tires, and P/S added. I'm going to put it back to normal so it could be used as a trail Jeep, rather than a jacked-up, rollie-pollie street Jeep. I will install '67 CJ axles with 3.73's (to prevent the need of an OD, which I usually demand in my low geared Willys vehicles.) complete with new 11" brakes, a Warrior shackle reversal kit, and a Saginaw manual steering box. Power steering is just another unnecessary luxury that could cause you to break down in the woods too far for even my family to come rescue me.
To Everyone: I will sell the '62 CJ-5 Axles with the spring perches moved, and tack welded. The axle ratio is 5.38, with 9" brakes. Will these fit a narrow track FC-150? I will also sell the new 33" x 12.50 wheels and tires, but no one reading this lives close to me. However, I could arrange delivery to the Northwest by a friend, for gas money.
