As a model builder, I'll agree with Curt that there are a lot of resin casters turning out products of questionable quality and this one appears to be one of them.
Several years ago I sent a cab from a pressed steel Bandai FC friction-powered stake truck to Tim Sherman of All Seasons Collectibles (a respected caster of resin truck models) and he did extensive work to make a respectable master from what he had to start with. I have two of the first pulls from the mold that I haven't had the chance to use yet, but am looking forward to using them someday.
Tim's casting is excellent. The interior is not 100% accurate as the toy didn't have one, and he crafted one from some pictures he could find on line.

I't a bit on the pricey side, but it looks much better than the one Blaine found on eBay.
I've always wanted an FC, but I think this is as close as I'm going to get to it.
