I let my newlly painted frame get rained on. Rust is bleeding out from behind the body support clips where they are rivited to the frame.
Options I see are to grind off the rivits, spot sand blast, and reattach the clips, but how?
Bolts - I don't like that idea, as it will not look stock and could come loose.
Weld - Could use weld through primer and seam weld them. That is a lot of work.
Or, I could clean up the rust stains as they occur and live with it.
Suggestions welcome.
