My honest answer is probably not. Not that there isn't buyers out there, there might be, but in mine mind it would have to be an exceptional vehicle. Forget Barrett or Russo & Steele. That FC-170 has been on Ebay three times now with no bids or even an offer. Again this is only my opinion, but there is no money to be made restoring and selling FC trucks. You have to want to restore your vehicle for the love of it as it surely will cost more to restore then it's final value.

: just curious, I know we would not want to set
: a price for someones else truck, but if I
: built a truck just like this , would it be
: worth 17k, I'm thinking less but I'm a
: little new to the fc selling. I think it
: will cost me at least 8k to rebuilt my truck
: like this truck, thats me doing 90% of labor
: and all the body work. I was thinking I
: would only get my investment back if I
: choise to sell my 170 3spd when finished.
: Would I be low on my estimate of my 1962
: truck value when finished, with all stock,
: but different seats and tires? Anyone that
: knows the selling prices of these truck want
: to take a stab at estimated finished stock
: fc-170, assuming the job was done correctly
: but not every bolt was replaced, thanks Ed
