Dear Fellow Jeepers,
I hope you are looking forward to firing up your Jeep and heading to the 2009 Half Century of Progress Show in Rantoul, Illinois August 27th – 30th. Those of you that have been there before know that this is the best show in the nation for showing vintage farming equipment in actual “working” conditions. I have our display tent rented again and hope to be back in about the same location as two years ago. We are truly in the middle of all the displays and activities. (Just down from the “Worlds Greatest Ice Cream”)
We have a block of rooms reserved down in Urbana, IL. The Eastland Suites is a reasonably priced location and has a good rate if you ask for the “Half Century Show” special rate. Of course, you are always welcome to grab a room or camping spot at the other locations around Rantoul, IL. The web site is: http://www.eastlandsuitesurbana.com
Please help me plan our display by letting me know if you can attend, and what items you will be bringing. Also, please invite anyone you know that has a farm-related Jeep or piece of equipment that might like to attend. Remember, there is never a fee or charge for those who bring equipment to display.
